Filters for standard valves
During cold-water immersion, a "interior ice" occur. It is increased when small amounts of water present in the scuba tank is. This interior is icing on the first "air-expansion point", the water conduit instead. When steel cylinders can lead to rusting when it's time and chemical conditions exist. The Nautec filter element made of hydrophobic (water-repellent) plastic (PE) is acid-and base-resistant, heat resistant, impact resistant, chemically neutral, a poor conductor of heat and harmless. By filtering out small particles (3-5 μ) and waterproof, it is for your own personal safety and to protect the traditional water pipe to replace plastic or brass. It is designed for all Nautec valves, but is now also made with thread M 6 x 0.75 for Sailor or Scubapro valves.
